Lavasa is a treat for those who enjoy the outdoors and has easy access to many activities like cycling, ziplining, boating, kayaking, jet skiing and other water sports. Hike up to the highest point of Lavasa to see a spectacular sunset. This trekking trail is called the Birds Trail and starts from opposite the Hotel Ekaant lobby and goes up 5-6 kms crossing various view points.
If you are in the mood for a lazy afternoon, take a picnic basket to Dhamanhol which is a 12 km drive by the lake or one of the many other scenic spots in the mountains. Grab some grub at the eateries on the lakeside promenade, indulge in a coffee at the outdoor cafe at Christ University or simply enjoy authentic Maharastrian food with cutting chai & maggi at the stalls just beyond the entry gate.
Visited for 5 days with a group of friends. Vikas & Shivani welcomed us and are super hosts. Every aspect of the villa has been specially designed to make you feel comfortable - from the well equipped kitchen, open balconies, garden area, sprawling common areas, sink in beds to the heated jacuzzi and steam room.
We were a family of 7 with 4 of them senior citizens. Owners - Vikas and Shivani, personally came to welcome us and showed us the complete property. Their Chef and Housekeeping staff were very good in their job.
